About Sankara
Sankara Xasha Ture is an international wardrobe stylist with a remarkable eye for fashion. Hailing from Gary, Indiana, her determination flourished during her time at Howard University, where she studied Fashion Merchandising. There, she discovered her passion for empowering individuals through clothing and image.
Sankara's mission is to make style accessible — blending high-end pieces with affordable options to help clients feel confident while being mindful of their budgets. Her expertise spans image consulting, costume design, and editorial and red carpet styling. She has elevated the wardrobe game for celebrity clients worldwide, including Phylicia Rashad, Saweetie, GloRilla, Latto, Quavo, Chloe Bailey, Busta Rhymes, Coco Jones, Kimora Lee Simmons, Winnie Harlow, Lil' Kim, Tabitha Brown, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, Kash Doll, Karen Clark Sheard, King Combs, Daymond John, Missy Elliott, Marlon Wayans and many others.
Her work has graced the pages of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, WWD, Essence, and Nylon, as well as numerous television shows. She has transitioned into creative directing and designing for Karl Kani, Von Dutch, and most recently began designing for Baby Phat.
